Situated in the heart of Malaria Free Addo, on the doorstep of the Addo Elephant National Park, and close to the many private reserves of the Greater Addo Region. Chrislin Addo Lodge is a tranquil retreat surrounded by Addo citrus farms.

Chris and Linda Pickels moved to Hermiston farm, Addo in 1989 and for nearly 10 years they farmed citrus before converting their farmhouse into Chrislin Bed and Breakfast. Addo developed into the holiday destination of choice for nature and wildlife lovers and the decision was made to build traditional African mud huts. Chris had the opportunity to use his knowledge of building with mud, developed on his parents farm.

Chrislin African Lodge delivers a unique experience in Bed and Breakfast Accommodation in traditionally built huts.

The well-appointed en-suite rooms, each with their own separate entrances are equipped with numerous practical and personal touches that make our guests feel at home. The huts feature either queen-sized beds or two single beds, and exude an authentic brand of African charm.

All our suites have been designed for maximum comfort based on two persons sharing, but they also have:
*Garden huts can accommodate up to one child under the age of 12. This is a sleeper couch/mattress in the same room as the parents.
*Or the Orchard hut can accommodate up to two children under the age of 17, although special arrangements can be made should it be three children under the age of 12. This is a bunk bed/sleeper couch in the same room as the parents.

The Garden and Orchard huts have en-suite bathrooms (with shower, basin and toilet), tea & coffee making facilities, fridge, ceiling fans, alarm clock/radio’s and hair dryers.

The larger Orchard huts are also equipped with air conditioning, a lounge area with sleeper couch and dressing room.

At Chrislin guests will find ample relaxation in the traditional African huts, next to the sparkling swimming pool and whilst enjoying a leisurely stroll around the farm.

The thatched lounge is the ideal place to relax while soaking up the sunshine or enjoying a sundown cocktail amongst friends. The beautifully maintained, expansive gardens of Chrislin Bed & Breakfast provide spectacular bird watching opportunities and the sparkling, swimming pool is easily accessible from all the guest suites.
